About Us

Vey

I am a qualified Canine Behaviour Practitioner and love working with all types of dogs. I have worked with rescue dogs in shelters and specialise in dog reactivity.

I have had dogs all my life and currently have a rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Whippet called Ty and a Bull Lurcher called Scout.

I only use positive, reward based training as it is the best way to achieve long term behaviour changes while maintaining a strong bond with your dog, I am passionate about dog training and behaviour adjustments and have seen some real transformation in the dogs I have worked with.

With my own dogs I enjoy doing agility and Canicross.

I also have young children and have lots of experience navigating the relationship between babies, toddlers and dogs- I love to teach my kids young, about how they can communicate with dogs and foster brilliant, harmonious relationships with the dogs around them.

Jen

I am a certified ISCP Dog Trainer only using positive, kind and force free training methods. I am fully insured and DBS checked as well as canine first aid trained through Animal Love First Aid.

I grew up with dogs of varying breeds from Doberman and Akita to Spaniels. I share my home with Hugo a 5yr old Staffweiler and Zara a 2yr old Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier and since introducing Zara to our lives, I have a particular love for the bully breeds. There’s no other love like it!

My aim is to spread knowledge to dog guardians of the importance of having an empathetic and understanding view of dog training and the lives of our dogs and helping us live in harmony. By using positive, force free methods we can all build a bond like no other with our dogs!

Speak to anyone who knows me and they will also say that I am a fresh and raw feeding enthusiast and I truly believe that all animals should have the opportunity to be fed a species appropriate diet.

Along with nutrition, I have a particular interest in Life skills training and helping our puppies and adolescent dogs navigate the human world, growing in to be well-balanced older dogs.

I enjoy a variety of canine activities; Tracking, Agility, Canicross, Trick Training and more!

My other passions within the industry are; aggression, zoopharmacognosy and dog law including the mission to end BSL.
